The Honor System
Teller is an amazing man; it makes me sad that someone is doing this to him. On the other hand, the effect the lawsuit will have— win or lose— on magic will be huge. My thoughts on the matter are somewhat jumbled, but mostly I am sad. Sad that people lack the respect and decency to do as they ought, sad that someone would show such disregard for someone I admire so greatly. It would be great if the honor system actually worked. The fact that this is something that has not happened before— the lawsuit, the person refusing to stop at Teller’s request— does give me some hope for humanity. Anyway. Best of luck, Teller.

It’s premium content, which means you gotta lay down some dough but I thought it was a really worthwhile episode to listen to. Great stories and conversation about starting out entertainment, politics, and personal philanthropy. I always enjoy hearing well thought out arguments on subjects that I hold opposing views on instead of “Fuck you, I’m right.”
